Private Client Solicitor or FILEX - Bristol

This large leading law firm are looking for an experienced Solicitor or FILEX to join their private client team in Bristol.   You will have proven experience of managing your own demanding private client caseload with up to date experience of administering complex estates and setting up and running a variety of trusts including relevant tax advice.  You should also have up to date knowledge of Court processes for Deputyship Orders and be familiar with the Mental Capacity Act 2005.   The role involves Will and LPA drafting, estate and trust administration, tax advice to clients including lifetime tax planning and CGT, completing Trust Tax Returns and Self assessment Returns, conducting benefit reviews, advising clients on benefits e.g. deprivation of capital and funding for care homes and advising on contentious provate, Trust and Court of Protection work.     There will also be the setting up of trusts from large Clinical Negligence/PI cases and drafting of Trusts and applications to the COP for complicated settlements.       As well as having knowledge of the above you should be organised with excellent communication skills and have a proactive approach to your work, ability to remain calm under pressure and be ambitious and keen to take on new challenges and projects.   You will be either a qualified solicitor or a Legal Executive and enjoy working in a busy, dedicated team.
