Team Assistant/Legal Assistant - Southampton

This leading Hampshire law firm are looking for a Team Assistant in their Employment/Company departments in Southampton.     For this role you will need to have accurate typing of at least 60 wpm and knowledge of Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint and research tools as well as case management.    The majority of typing is done by the Document Production team so you will have close liaison with this team to manage workflow as well as with the administrative team.     You will carry out admin and client service support to the fee earners including telephone and face to face client liaison, diary management, file management, dealing with correspondence, keeping databases up to date and assisting with billing and credit control.   You should have knowledge of legal terminology, documents and the legal process, have an excellent telephone manner and organisational skills.  You should be flexible and dependable, able to use initiative and be calm under pressure.   This role is a new role changing the way Secretarial services are provided within the Firm.
