Part-Time Legal Secretary - Poole
This modern law firm, with offices in High Wycombe and Poole, does not just provide traditional house conveyancing with written quotations where requested, Wills, Probate and Divorce, but also the other legal needs of family and business. The firm are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Legal Secretary to join their Family Department in High Wycombe.
Duties:
· Audio and copy typing forms, statements, letters, court documents and other correspondence
· Filing – opening new matters and archiving closed files
· Diary management – arranging appointments for clients, meetings and diarising Court dates
· Dealing with incoming telephone enquiries from clients, taking messages where appropriate and assisting clients where necessary
· Dealing with the firm’s post
· Faxing documents
· Photocopying
· Assisting other secretaries with their workload where necessary
Qualifications & Experience:
· Previous legal secretarial experience is essential
· Excellent audio and copy typing skills obtained through a qualification (OCR, RSA, PITMANS)
· Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet and case management systems
· Excellent client care skills
· Organised with good communication skills
· A team player with an enthusiastic attitude
The role is part-time and salary will be based on experience.
